Most of you know me as, at the very least, a nonjudgmental lactation consultant (and person in general, I'd like to think). My philosophy has always been "happy mom, happy baby" and some of that happiness is found in all sorts of ways when it comes to feeding choices (breast, bottles, nursing covers, etc.). I support lots of different lactating people expressing all sorts of desires and beliefs. I'm pretty lucky. Having said that, I couldn't help but laugh out loud when reading this HuffPost, sent to me by one of my favorite moms. For those of you with a more sensitive relationship with breastfeeding, be sure to focus on the underlying message, not the specific call-outs. Enjoy!
